Lesson Study has become a popular form of teacher-led professional learning in many parts of the world. With a national policy context supportive of teachers’ professional learning and ‘practitioner inquiry’, Scotland is ideally situated to develop Lesson Study as a key feature of professional development in schools and other educational settings.
This interactive seminar will offer delegates the opportunity to:
- Explore the potential of Lesson Study as a professional learning approach for all education practitioners.
- Discuss the possibilities for collaborative projects that straddle schools, universities and other educational settings.
