Workshop for Early Career Researchers
The SERA Digital Education Network is committed to support research in digital education in a variety of learning contexts, to promote developments in the teaching and learning with new digital technologies, and to disseminate research results and share good practices for technology integration. To facilitate knowledge exchange the SERA Digital Network is hosting a workshop for early career researchers (ECRs) who are currently engaged in doctoral studies.
The workshop will take place on May 30th via Zoom to enable wider participation across different institutions. The workshop will enable ECRs to share their latest research on digital education and the implementation of new digital technologies (e.g., teaching and learning with XR, AI, and other emergent digital platforms). Each speaker will present their research (15 minutes) and receive feedback from ECRs to assist participants in developing their research further. We encourage presenters to include in their presentation specific questions for the audience to ensure a mutual and enriching dialogue.
To present at this workshop, please send your abstract of no more than 300 words outlining the proposed presentation. We welcome ECRs at any stage of their career and the research presented does not need to have been completed before the presentation at the workshop. However, depending on the number of submissions received, we reserve the right to allocate your presentation to a follow-up workshop. Abstracts are due by April 20th and should be sent to Dr. Lavinia Hirsu (lavinia.hirsu@glasgow.ac.uk).
Decisions regarding the accepted abstracts and presentations will be made by April 30th.
